The Art of A Slick Bun
Curious on how to achieve TikTok's trendy slick back bun? A look that we've continued to see over and over again from Hailey Bieber to Kim Kardashian, the hairstyle is perfect for both greasy-hair days and fancy events alike.
Split the hair in two sections (The secret that no one does).
Section off a triangular section of hair at the crown of the head and clip it up to keep it out of the way.
Next, drench the roots with spray and brush hair back into a smooth, snatched ponytail. Make sure to follow the line of the cheekbones when pulling back the ponytail - it's the best way to make your face look lifted.
After the ponytail is secure, unclip the top triangular section of hair and clean up the middle part using a tail comb to make sure its completely straight. Next, add hairspray to the front section and saturate the roots again.
Twist the ponytail and wrap it around into the bun. Then go through and clean up any flyaways with a toothbrush and some hairspray.
